How To Apply

There are three ways you can apply. However, due to the Cornavirus (COVID-19) and current Delta Variant outbreak, the Waiting List Application process has changed:

  1. Pick-up Application Packet — On the following dates and times:
  • Tuesday, August 31st 10 am – 12 Noon

    Wednesday, September 1st 10 am – 12 Noon

    Thursday, September 2nd 10 am – 12 Noon

       Additional Application Packet pick-up will be available on:

  • Tuesday, September 21st 10 am – 12 Noon

    Wednesday, September 22nd 10 am – 12 Noon

    Friday, September 24th 10 am – 12 Noon

    Saturday, September 25th 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Application In Take Process

Applicants must apply during this open enrollment period to be placed on the Waiting List.

All applicants are treated equally, no matter when and how they apply during the Open Waiting List Application period.

The application requires certain information for all members of the applicant’s household. Before you begin the application process, be sure you have all of the following information:

  1. Social Security Card for all members of your household

  2. Birth Certificate for all members of your household

  3. Photo ID for all members of your household

  4. Supplement to Application for Federally Assisted Housing HUD-92006 Form

  5. Race and Ethnic Data Reporting Form HUD-27061-H Form (optional disclosure by the household)

  6. Citizenship Declaration Form for all members of your household

  7. Applicant’s/Resident’s Consent to Release Information HUD-9887/9887A

  8. Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Tenant Release and Consent

  9. Proof of Income (tax returns, pay stubs, etc.) for all members of your household

  10. List of Assets for all members of your household

Any persons age 55 or older qualifying for accessibility features: Mobility, Hearing or Visual will be verified

Upon receipt of your completed application documents, an evaluation/review will be performed to determine that your documents have met the eligibility requirements for placement on the Waiting List. Those applicants with incomplete applications will be notified and given 5 business days from the initial date their application was reviewed to correct and complete their submission deficiencies.
